The first truck to appear in Thetford Mines was a one and a half ton "Rheo" owned by Mr. Gedeon Gosselin. The early trucking industry in Thetford Mines was triggered by the construction of the St-Joseph's hospital. |

By the late 1950's, Gosselin Transport vehicles were traveling millions of miles per year. Daily deliveries were made between Thetford Mines, Montreal and Quebec. |

During the 1960's Gosselin Transport added new services. Container transport, the transportation of food products, and delivery services to most towns and cities in Quebec. |

A new division comes into existence: Gosselin Express Ltd. Offering services Canada wide and in the continental United States, Gosselin Express transports merchandise using specialized equipment. |
